Legendary DJ Bigga Rankin co-signs Issa aka “the young veteran” and states “he is the closest thing to a star that I’ve seen since Jeezy, 2Chainz, and T.I.”, whom he also helped break into the music industry over 10 years ago. Issa (@IssaIam) aka "The Young Veteran" is back with "Makaveli", the follow-up to his hugely successful "Whips & Chains" video/single release. Rap is a genre that is very familiar with the alias "Makaveli", thanks to the late and great, Tupac Shakur. Issa credits the late artist as one of his inspirations and has had some comparisons to the artist, in the capacity of wanting to change the rap game as we know it. This record serves as homage and as a reflection of what Issa truly intends to do. For those of you that have not yet realized, the ultimate goal is revolutionize the game and create awareness for political and social issues, while also releasing some fun records. Issa is not one to shy away from shocking fans by speaking on the touchy subjects. Issa is also an artist that can stand with activists on the front lines, as well as go to the streets and hang out with the fans. Having these versatile qualities are what caused Issa’s goal become an artist with a real message that will be leave his imprint on the music industry. [Single] Lynn Tate (@LynnTate) ft @IssaIam - Like I Love You
Lynn Tate (@LynnTate) spent most of her formative years playing sports, but she was also a part of the school choir all throughout. The time came when Lynn had to make the decision on which she would continue to pursue because it was not possible to do both. At that point Lynn was well aware that her true passion was in music. The first record that Lynn did was off the charts, what we call a hit and it immediately brought local labels to her wanting to sign her…at that moment she knew she was blessed with a gift and has not stopped recording since.
Lynn’s journey took her from Alabama, to Oregon, and then to Florida, but she felt as though she needed to be in Atlanta to flourish in the music business and that was exactly what she did. Lynn became a part of a girl group called “NoraLynnRowe”, together they did a record with 2Chainz and Jazzy Pha called “We Know Erbody”, but unfortunately things did not work out and the group parted way. Lynn did not stop though; she started doing hooks for many artists; such as, Rich Homie Quan, Shawty Lo, Pastor Troy, Mase, Trinidad James, Issa, Young Ralph, Cash Out, Zaytoven and many many more. Today, we are releasing her official single “Like I Love Ya”, which features Issa and is produced by T Black The Hitmaker, both from Atlanta's very own Good Life Music Group. After all the time, moves, and work she's put in, she feels that with God by her side, her time has now officially arrived.

[Video] Issa (@IssaIam) - Whips and Chains + Mp3
Good Life Music Group’s, Issa (@IssaIam) who has been called a young vet in the industry just released an eye opening visual to his latest record “Whips and Chains”, which he recorded over a year ago which was never released. When asked why Issa had not released it his response was "I didn't know if my fans were ready for it. Over the years, I've released several projects and on each one I put at least one song that expresses who I am and where I am headed with my music. I would like to move people in a new direction to open their minds. I want to advance my people. We shot the video few months back and my team allowed me to have creative control and I appreciate that".
“Whips and Chains” was directed by none other than B pace and produced by Good Life Music Group’s very own T Black the Hitmaker. Issa also stated that “there are a lot of messages in the video that we purposely put there, but the craziest situation surrounding this video is that there are other messages that I had no idea were placed in there that God inserted. The message is we are no longer physical slaves, but yet some of us remain in mentally enslaved. WE ARE NOT SLAVES. I hope everyone enjoys it, learns from it and gets prepared for where I’m taking my generation.”

Issa (@IssaIam) artist signed to Good Life Music Group is one of the few artists that we can honestly say was destined, even before his conception to be a musical superstar. In 2014, Issa released various records; one of those records “Breathe”, which features Jacob Latimore, gained major radio play across the U.S., claimed the #1 radio spot for Indie Records, and the video debuted on 106 & Park and MTV Jams. Also in 2014, Issa put his writing talents to work for platinum selling artists, is currently on the verge of inking a major deal, and still manages to find time to work on his new project “No Rules”. Due to his relentless grind, Issa caught the attention of MTV and has signed on to record a reality show, which will document his moves as he continues to travel down the road to stardom. Mila J (@MilaJ) is another artist that has made some major moves and continues to shock the world with her talent, beauty, and grind. Atlanta, GA. Good Life Music Group has been consistently impacting any and everyone who takes time out to listen and watch their young artist Issa (@IssaIam). The union of these two powerhouses initially brought about the release of “Hundo", immediately followed by the radio campaign for "Breathe" and with that the preparations for the official release of the single via iTunes and the network premiere for the video were under way. Issa is an artist whom likes to stay busy and so he embarked on a radio tour to push his records. One of the stops on Issa's tour was the Core DJS conference in Mississippi.
While at the Core DJs conference Issa performed "Dope Man" and it became clear that we needed to push up the release of this single. Good Life Music Group's latest roster edition Issa (@IssaIam) has definitely hit the ground running. The stand out artist already has his upcoming track "Breathe" successfully spinning in radio stations across the United States and the track has not been officially released by the label. Yes, you read that correctly. The track has not officially been released, but is making its rounds through airwaves in various markets. We are here today to announce that Issa is taking the show on the road once again.
